Sacred Saturday is a nourishing one-day retreat held every other Saturday at Colet House โ€” a space to pause, reset, and reconnect.

Since the 1950s, Colet House has been home to spiritual practice, inner enquiry, and community life. Sacred Saturday is a new initiative that carries this heritage into the present, adapting the timeless values weโ€™ve long upheld to speak to a modern audience and a changing world.

Rooted in the heart of what we do at Colet House, the day draws on the 4Ms: Music, Meeting, Movement, and Meditation. These four guiding themes shape each retreat โ€” offering a rich and balanced journey through creative expression, embodied practice, deep reflection, and shared presence.

Youโ€™ll take part in four workshops throughout the day, each one inspired by these themes. No previous experience is needed โ€” just bring yourself. Youโ€™ll be gently supported by a dedicated host who will guide you through the retreat..

Wondering About...

  • Yoga mats, blankets, and blocks are available on-site and also any additional equipment for the workshop is provided. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows free movement to help you fully enjoy the experience

  • Weโ€™re thrilled to share that the Colet Cafรฉ will soon open in the former refectory, offering a selection of fresh meals, tea, coffee, and sweet treats. Itโ€™s the perfect spot to recharge during your Sacred Saturday experience.

    In the meantime, youโ€™re welcome to bring your own refreshments and lunch.

  • The schedule follows a consistent structure across the month:

    • Morning: Two sessions, beginning with Tai Chi, followed by an energizing activity like yoga or a mindful activity

    • Afternoon: Either two shorter slots or a single extended session, depending on the week's theme.

  • Weโ€™ve designed ticket options to suit your needs and schedule:

    1. Single Session Pass

      • Ideal if you want to experience a specific part of the Sacred Saturday lineup.

      • Choose the session that resonates most with you.

    2. Full-Day Immersion Pass

      • Dive into the full Sacred Saturday experience for a complete journey of mindfulness and self-discovery.

      • Includes access to all sessions, offering a day of connection, relaxation, and transformation.

  • Sacred Saturdays take place every Saturday, starting from January 18th, running from 10:15 AM to 5:30 PM. For those looking to extend their day, evening tickets are available for additional activities.
