Sacred Saturday is a nourishing one-day retreat held every other Saturday at Colet House — a space to rest, refresh, and reconnect.

Since the 1950s, Colet House has been home to spiritual practice, inner peace, and community life. Sacred Saturday is a new initiative that carries this heritage into the present, adapting the timeless values we’ve long upheld to speak to a modern audience and a changing world.

Rooted in the heart of what we do at Colet House, the day draws on the 4Ms: Music, Meeting, Movement, and Meditation. These four guiding themes shape each retreat, offering a rich and balanced journey through creative expression, embodied practice, deep reflection, and shared presence.

You’ll take part in four workshops throughout the day, each day inspired by these themes.
No previous experience is needed, just bring yourself. You’ll be gently supported by a dedicated host who will guide you through the retreat.

Movement

    About the host:
    Flow Vulk brings her unique energy and deep connection to movement. Rooted in 5Rhythms since 2014, Flow invites us to dance not to escape, but to remember — to come alive, shake off the dust, and let life move through us. Her sessions are a call to awaken the body, stir the soul, and reconnect with the rhythm that lives within us all.

  • Tai Chi is a gentle movement practice that blends slow, flowing postures with mindful breathing and focus. Wondering About...

  • Yoga mats, blankets, and blocks are available on-site and also any additional equipment for the workshop is provided. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows free movement to help you fully enjoy the experience.

  • We’re thrilled to share that the Colet Café is now open in the former refectory, offering a selection teas, coffees, and sweet treats. It’s the perfect spot to recharge during your Sacred Saturday experience.

    (Lunch options will be available soon. In the meantime, you’re welcome to bring your own lunch to enjoy in the café, alongside a drink or small purchase from us.)

  • Sacred Saturdays run every other Saturday from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM at Colet House.

    What’s the format of the day?
    Each Saturday is centred around one of our four guiding themes: Movement, Meditation, Music, or Meetings. The full-day retreat offers a curated experience designed to help you rest, reconnect, and recharge.

  • Sacred Saturdays take place every other Saturday, starting from September 13th, running from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
